As the name suggests in Turkish, “Sirince”, is a “quite pretty” village about 9 miles away from Ephesus. It’s a combination of Turkish and Greek culture as until 1920s, the inhabitants of the village had been the Greeks.

Not to mention the fact that you are surrounded by Greek architecture as you stroll along the streets, making Sirince one of the most distinctive villages in this region.

As being a typical Aegean village, olive oil is one of the main resources of the village; however it is also well-known for its wine.
